PatentSignal is NOT a law firm and does NOT provide legal services.

The insights, analyses, and recommendations provided by PatentSignal are:

  • PatentSignal's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to PatentSignal in the 12 months preceding the claim

PatentSignal is not liable for:

  • Any legal consequences resulting from use of PatentSignal analysis
  • Errors or omissions in AI-generated insights
  • Decisions made based on PatentSignal recommendations
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PatentSignal, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any actions taken based on PatentSignal analysis

8. Data Privacy

Your use of PatentSignal is subject to our Privacy Policy. PatentSignal processes publicly available USPTO data only. We do not train our AI models on your specific client data or search queries.

Your searches and analyses are private. We do not share or sell your activity data.

  • Unlimited read-only access to previous reports

  • Billed monthly at $49/mo (Early Bird pricing)

TEAM Tier

  • Pooled usage across team
  • Shared workspace
  • Priority support
  • Billed monthly at $199/seat

Subscription Terms

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • You may cancel at any time
  • No refunds for partial months
  • Early Bird pricing locked for early adopters

10. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Use PatentSignal for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract proprietary algorithms
  • Use automated systems to access the Service (scraping, bots)
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use PatentSignal to provide legal services to others without proper licensing

11. Intellectual Property

PatentSignal and its content, features, and functionality are owned by PatentSignal and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission.

12. Termination

PatentSignal may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or cancelling your subscription.

13. Changes to Terms

PatentSignal reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law
